Minka Kelly and Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds have ended their relationship after four years of dating, PEOPLE reports.

A source close to the couple told PEOPLE that the split “happened recently”. Representatives for Kelly, 46, and Reynolds, 39, did not respond to requests for comment.

The former couple began dating in 2022 after meeting through a mutual friend and bonding over their creative work. They were first spotted together in Los Angeles that autumn.

Kelly and Reynolds continued to share glimpses of their relationship throughout 2026. In July, the Friday Night Lights alum posted photos from a family trip to Disneyland featuring Reynolds and his children. She later celebrated his 39th birthday with an Instagram tribute, thanking him for making ordinary days feel extraordinary.

In August, Kelly also shared a video showing Reynolds helping with her skincare routine.

Their final public appearance together came in May 2026, when they attended the Museum of Contemporary Art Gala in Los Angeles. Kelly shared a photo from the event on Instagram, calling it a date night.

The actress and musician had previously spoken about their relationship. Kelly revealed that Reynolds helped her learn piano for her role in Ransom Canyon, while Reynolds discussed Kelly’s relationship with his four children, whom he shares with ex-wife Aja Volkman.

Reynolds said his children “love” Kelly and described their approach to blending their families as careful and gradual.

The reported breakup marks the end of the couple’s four-year relationship, which included several public appearances and family moments.
