Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra announce they are expecting their second child

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are set to become parents once again, with the Bollywood couple announcing that they are expecting their second child in a heartfelt Instagram post on Wednesday.

The couple shared a tender image featuring their intertwined hands, their firstborn’s tiny hand and a pair of baby gloves placed in the middle — a subtle yet emotional hint that their family is about to grow once again.

“Blessed once again with the greatest gift of all. Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude,” Advani wrote alongside the picture.

Advani and Malhotra announced the arrival of their baby girl in July 2025, writing at the time, “Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a Baby Girl.”

The couple later revealed their daughter’s name, Saraayah Malhotra, in November 2025, sharing a photograph of themselves holding her tiny toes.

Their latest announcement also echoes the way they revealed their first pregnancy.

In February 2025, Kiara and Sidharth shared an understated photograph centred around baby mittens to announce that they were expecting their first child.

Now, baby gloves have once again taken centre stage, with fans and Bollywood celebrities flooding the couple’s latest post with congratulatory messages.

From co-stars to family

Kiara and Sidharth’s love story began before they officially became one of Bollywood’s most-loved couples. The two first met at the wrap-up party of Kiara’s Lust Stories in 2018, according to Kiara’s earlier account, before their relationship blossomed further when they worked together on Shershaah.

Released in 2021, Shershaah saw the pair share the screen as Vikram Batra and Dimple Cheema. While they remained largely private about their relationship, their chemistry on and off screen fuelled years of speculation.

The couple eventually made things official with their wedding on February 7, 2023, at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.

The intimate ceremony was attended by close friends and family, with the pair choosing to keep much of their relationship away from the public eye.

Life beyond the announcement

Advani was most recently seen in Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, alongside Yash, while she has also appeared in War 2 with Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr.

Malhotra, meanwhile, continues to balance commercial and action-oriented projects, with Vvan: Force of the Forest among his recent work.

For now, however, the spotlight is firmly on the couple’s growing family. After moving from Shershaah co-stars to husband and wife, and then becoming parents to Saraayah, Kiara and Sidharth are preparing to welcome another little member into their family.
