He additionally reviewed The Screener, an independent television series created by Jim Cummings and PJ McCabe. The show centres on the fallout from a leaked talent-agency screener and features actors including Kumail Nanjiani and Creed Bratton.

Meanwhile, Sneider reported that The Screener is expected to be released independently after premiering at Sundance without securing distribution.
