Samar Jafri dedicates new track 'Phir Mileinge Hum' to his younger self

Singer and actor Samar Jafri released a new single, Phir Mileinge Hum, dedicated to his younger self. Announcing the song on Instagram with a childhood photo of himself holding a toy guitar, Jafri wrote that the track was "for the baby Samar".

In the caption, Jafri reflected on how people often lived up to others' expectations and lost sight of who they were. "I wish I could return to being the carefree child whose biggest worry was getting to school on time," he wrote, urging fans to stay grateful and keep their inner child alive.

The release of Phir Mileinge Hum drew support for Jafri from entertainment industry peers. Some even posted childhood pictures of themselves set to the song, in keeping with the track's sentiment.

Singer Raamis shared Jafri's post on Instagram. "Dropping such beautiful melodies randomly on a Friday like it's nothing," he wrote.

Phir Mileinge Hum followed Jafri's previous single Chalo Door Kahin, released in October 2025, and came after Spotify named the singer its RADAR Pakistan artist for Q4 2025.

Jafri first drew attention as a child actor in the drama Parwarish, which also launched his music career. He most recently featured on Express Entertainment’s Raja London Ka, where his on-screen chemistry with Ameema Saleem won fans over.
