Hudson Williams has revealed that the late Heath Ledger was the actor who inspired him the most, crediting the Oscar-winning performer with influencing his approach to acting.

Speaking during a TIFF 2026 event in Toronto, the Heated Rivalry star was asked about the actors who had inspired him throughout his career. Williams named Ledger, particularly recalling watching his performances when he was younger.

Williams pointed to Ledger's portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Knight as a major source of inspiration. He described seeing Ledger in the role for the first time as something that left a lasting impression on him.

Williams has previously spoken about the importance of finding his own approach to acting. His breakout role as Shane Hollander in Heated Rivalry has since brought him international attention, with the series returning for a second season.

Williams was at the Toronto International Film Festival this month for events surrounding his work, including his upcoming series Yaga. The actor is also preparing to reprise his role as Shane alongside Connor Storrie in the second season of Heated Rivalry.
