New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson is set to guest star on the upcoming 28th season of Law & Order: SVU, adding an acting role to his growing television appearances.

Brunson will appear in the fifth episode of Season 28, which is scheduled to air at 9 pm on November 5. Details about his character are being kept under wraps.

The casting reunites Brunson with SVU star and Knicks superfan Mariska Hargitay.

The NBA point guard previously appeared alongside Hargitay in the show’s pre-taped opening musical number, which featured dancers and extras.

Brunson is also preparing to host the Season 52 premiere of Saturday Night Live on September 26, with musical guest KATSEYE.

He is expected to return to NBC and Peacock for the Knicks’ season opener on October 20 against LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers.

Law & Order: SVU follows the Special Victims Unit of the New York City Police Department as its detectives investigate crimes including sexual assault, child abuse and domestic violence.

The series is the longest-running primetime drama in television history.

Hargitay stars alongside Ice T, Peter Scanavino, Kelli Giddish, Kevin Kane, Aimé Donna Kelly and Corey Cott.

Created by Dick Wolf, the series is produced by Universal Television in association with Wolf Entertainment.

Season 28 premieres at 9 pm on Thursday, October 8, ahead of the new season of Law & Order.
