Gujar Khan women targeted on social media

Residents of Jhanda and adjoining areas of Gujar Khan tehsil have expressed serious concern after a local resident allegedly went viral on TikTok and social media by sharing pictures and information of women from the area.

They approached the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), but no action could be taken against the suspect.

According to sources, a citizen from Gujar Khan submitted an application to the NCCIA Rawalpindi, providing the name and identity details of the person allegedly involved in the activity.

He stated that an alleged unscrupulous person was sharing information and pictures of women from the area through an ID and had now also created a TikTok ID through which he shared pictures and information about women.

The applicant said the person was creating fake IDs and damaging the reputation of respectable people and called for legal action against him.
