Two girls allege sexual harassment

Incidents of alleged sexual harassment of minor girls continued in Rawalpindi, with two separate cases reported in the areas of Ratta Amral and Naseerabad police stations.

Police registered cases after one girl was allegedly threatened with a knife and a video was circulated, while another girl was allegedly held captive and subjected to an attempted sexual assault, with a video allegedly made to threaten her.

According to the complaint submitted to Ratta Amral police by a woman identified as (S.G), her husband works as a cart puller to support the family.

She said her 12-year-old daughter was carrying her nine-month-old younger sister in her arms and was going to her aunt's nearby house when two boys, identified as Adnan, known as the PCO operator, and another unidentified person, allegedly stopped her.

The unidentified boy allegedly grabbed her daughter while Adnan stood some distance away and kept watch.

The girl allegedly threatened the unidentified boy and tried to escape to save herself. However, the complainant alleged that Adnan, who was standing at a street corner, told her to return to the other boy or he would kill her and her sister with a knife.

He allegedly threatened that the same would happen if she told anyone about the incident.

The complainant said CCTV cameras were installed at Adnan's house and the entire incident occurred at the same location.

She alleged that Adnan himself provided an objectionable video to different people, claiming that the suspects were trying to defame and destroy her family and that the video had also reached her husband.

She sought legal action against Adnan and his unidentified accomplice for allegedly threatening her daughters with a knife and threatening the 12-year-old girl for sexual purposes.

Police registered a case and started an investigation.

In another incident in the Naseerabad police station area, a woman identified as (F.Bibi) told police that Malik Abrar took her 14-year-old daughter on a motorcycle to a flat at Malik Yasir's dera in Bhata Chowk.

She alleged that he harassed the girl there, tried to remove her clothes and attempted to sexually assault her, but the girl resisted.

According to the complaint, the girl was kept there for around three hours. Later, Malik Yasir's driver allegedly beat her and attempted to sexually assault her, while videos were also allegedly made.

The suspects allegedly threatened the girl that they would circulate the videos if she informed the police.

The complainant said Malik Abrar dropped her daughter at Chohar Chowk at around 7pm. The girl was extremely distressed and later told her mother what had happened. The woman said her daughter had been subjected to serious wrongdoing and requested legal action.
