You Can See Everything: A24 reveals secret Elizabeth Holmes documentary directed by Nathan Fielder

A24 has revealed a previously unannounced documentary about Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, with the film set to arrive in cinemas in October.

The documentary is titled You Can See Everything and was produced in secret.

Its existence was revealed on September 6, the same day it had a secret world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival.

The film follows Holmes in the weeks before she began her prison sentence in 2023 after being convicted of fraud.

Its official synopsis states: "Thirty-four days before she's sent to prison, notorious Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move," the synopsis reads. "What begins as an intimate portrait of an enigmatic felon becomes a mind-bending three-year journey into the abyss."

A brief teaser shows Fielder confronting Holmes as she attempts to persuade him that she can be trusted. "I don't have anything to deceive you on," she tells him. "Of course I'm not deceiving you."

Fielder is known for projects that blur fiction and reality, including Nathan For You and HBO's The Rehearsal.

His involvement adds an unusual perspective to a story already explored in documentaries and scripted television.

Holmes was convicted after prosecutors established that she had misled investors about Theranos' blood-testing technology.

She was sentenced to 11 years and three months in prison and began her sentence in 2023.

You Can See Everything is scheduled for a theatrical release in October.
