The first of three individual teasers for the upcoming film Sheroes, backed by the Sindh Information Department, was released, spotlighting actor Kinza Hashmi's segment titled 'Artist'.

The segment stars Kinza alongside Nayyer Ejaz, Nazar Ul Hasan and Ahmad Hassan. It is one of three standalone stories that come together to form Sheroes.

In the teaser, Ejaz's character was seen discussing an old family heirloom with two prospective buyers. The screen then flashed the line, "Artist or con artist?" hinting that Kinza's character dealt in forged art passed off as authentic.

A running thread through the trailer was that art and artists went unappreciated, with one character remarking that "people buy frames, nobody buys art." Kinza's character later delivered the segment's standout line: "A lie travels the world as the truth is left tying its shoelaces."

The project follows Sindh Films' previous major release Mera Lyari, which premiered in May this year. It starred Ayesha Omar as a football coach mentoring young girls in Lyari, with Dananeer Mobeen in a supporting role.

With teasers for Zara and Ushna's segments expected to follow in the coming days, Sheroes is set to premiere in cinemas nationwide on September 18.
