Travis Kelce addresses fans' body shaming comments after wedding

Travis Kelce addressed fans' comments about his body after his wedding and honeymoon with Taylor Swift.

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has responded to comments from NFL fans about his appearance during the offseason, saying he found the criticism on social media funny.

Kelce's offseason included his wedding to singer Taylor Swift, with the couple beginning their new chapter at Madison Square Garden before spending time together on their honeymoon. With the NFL season approaching, Kelce has returned his attention to football.

The Chiefs tight end acknowledged that he may not currently be in his best physical shape after the wedding and honeymoon period. However, he said he was amused by fans' reactions to recent clips and photographs.

Speaking on the New Heights podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, Travis addressed comments describing him as having gained weight and having a "dad body".

"That s___ was so f_____ funny, reading some of these comments on that clip going viral and then, obviously, the fat-shaming and saying that I got a dad body.

"It's all social media just having fun. And I even laugh at this s___. I mean, it's f_____ pure comedy," Kelce said.

He also pointed out that his current condition is not unusual compared with previous NFL seasons.

"There have been other years where I've came in way fatter than I am this year, for sure. We're doing good so far," he added.
