Mexican musician Jonathan Meléndez, his pregnant wife, their 3-year-old daughter and the family’s nanny were shot dead inside their home in Mexico City, according to CNN.

Meléndez, 35, was a keyboardist for the Mexican indie rock band Camilo Séptimo. He was reportedly found dead Tuesday alongside his wife, Ana Paula, 35, who was four months pregnant.

Their 3-year-old daughter was also killed in the shooting, along with her 21-year-old nanny. The victims were discovered inside the family’s upscale home, according to CNN, which cited information from Mexico’s Attorney General’s Office.

Authorities said three of the victims, including the young girl, were shot in the backs of their heads. A fourth victim was reportedly shot in the back.

The Mexico Attorney General’s Office also said two of the victims had their hands tied. The family dog was found dead at the scene with its legs bound.

A 6-year-old boy, who was also inside the home, survived the attack unharmed.

Mexican authorities have arrested two men in connection with the killings. Prosecutors reportedly said one of the suspects was able to enter the home because of his relationship with one of the victims.

The investigation into the Mexico City shooting and the deaths of Jonathan Meléndez and his family remains ongoing. Authorities have not publicly established a motive for the killings.
