Sean “Diddy” Combs’ prison release date has been moved up again, with the music mogul now scheduled to leave the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, on February 5, 2028, according to the Bureau of Prisons.

The updated Diddy release date is more than two weeks earlier than his previously scheduled release on February 20, 2028. His release date has been adjusted several times since he was initially expected to leave prison in June 2028.

Diddy, whose legal name is Sean Combs, was convicted in 2025 on two counts of transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution. A federal jury acquitted him of the more serious charges of racketeering and sex trafficking following a high-profile trial.

The judge sentenced Diddy to four years and two months in federal prison. He began serving his sentence at the Fort Dix facility in October 2025.

His time in prison has also attracted attention following an altercation with another inmate. The incident resulted in Diddy being placed in solitary confinement for a short period, according to previous reports.

Following the prison fight, Diddy’s release date was adjusted from January 2028 to February 20, 2028. The latest update has now moved the date forward again to February 5, 2028.

The Bureau of Prisons’ listed date remains subject to change, meaning Diddy’s actual release date could be adjusted again. For now, the February 5, 2028 date marks the latest scheduled release date for the former music executive.
