Michael Strahan has reportedly become a father for the fifth time, welcoming his first child with longtime girlfriend Kayla Quick, according to TMZ.

The Good Morning America co-anchor, 54, and Quick, 37, reportedly welcomed a baby girl earlier this year. The couple has been together since 2015 but has largely kept their relationship and family life away from the public spotlight.

Strahan is already the father of four children. He shares daughter Tanita, 34, and son Michael Jr., 31, with his ex-wife Wanda Hutchins. He also shares twin daughters Isabella and Sophia, 21, with his former wife Jean Muggli.

Quick, who co-founded wellness supplement company FIZZNESS, has occasionally appeared alongside Strahan at important family events. She attended his 2023 Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony and was also present as his daughters celebrated their high school graduation.

The former NFL star has frequently spoken about the importance of fatherhood and the role his children play in his life. In a previous interview, Strahan described being a father as one of life’s greatest joys while acknowledging the challenges that come with raising a family.

Strahan has also been open about supporting his children through difficult periods. His daughter Isabella faced a serious health challenge beginning in late 2023, and the family later shared positive news about her recovery.

The reported arrival of Strahan’s fifth child marks a new chapter for the television personality and former New York Giants star. Despite maintaining a relatively private relationship with Quick, Strahan has consistently highlighted the importance of family.

Neither Strahan nor Quick has publicly confirmed details about the reported birth, including the baby’s name or exact arrival date.
