North West has revealed piercing she wants to get, discussing her interest in body modification as creative expression

North West has revealed the piercing she "really wants" but is not allowed to get, as the 13-year-old continues to experiment with her personal style.

The daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West discussed her interest in piercings in an interview with Dazed published on Monday, August 24. North explained that body modification is one way she expresses herself.

"They just make you your full self," she told the outlet when asked what sparked her interest in getting pierced.

North then revealed that there is one particular piercing her parents currently do not allow.

"I really want to get my bridge pierced, but I'm not allowed," North said.

She did not explain why she is not permitted to get a bridge piercing. However, she has previously shown off several other piercings as part of her evolving style.

In August, a video shared on North and Kardashian's joint TikTok account appeared to show two metal studs positioned in the centre of each of North's thighs.

A previous video from July showed bandages in the same areas, with the placement later appearing consistent with possible dermal piercings.

North has also previously been seen with dermal piercings on her hands, including several finger piercings. Her changing appearance has become part of her public image, alongside other fashion choices.

The teenager has also experimented with other forms of self-expression, including blue hair and a blacked-out grill, which she later confirmed was temporary.

Kardashian has previously addressed reactions to her daughter's appearance and defended North's freedom to explore her personal style.

In October 2025, the joint Kim and North TikTok account responded to criticism by writing, "This is such a non-issue 😭."

North released her debut EP, N0rth4evr, at the age of 12 and has continued developing her public identity through music and fashion.
