Arguments sought in Sidra murder case
.

The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has summoned arguments from both the prosecution and defence on September 5 regarding separate pleas seeking the cancellation of bail granted to suspects and challenging the court's jurisdiction in the Sidra Arab murder case.
Sidra Arab, a married woman, was allegedly murdered in the Pirwadhai police station limits following orders issued by a jirga.
During the court proceeding, Public Prosecutor Rana Saadat Ali represented the state, while defence counsels Basharat Ullah and Ilyas Siddiqui Advocates appeared on behalf of the accused.
The prosecution submitted an application requesting the court to cancel the bail granted to the suspects nominated in the murder case.
The ATC subsequently issued notices to the relevant parties, directing them to present their arguments on the matter during the next scheduled hearing.
