Calligraphy exhibit encapsulates Milad spirit

RAWALPINDI:

The exhibition featured a collection of calligraphic artworks by senior artist Azeem Iqbal, comprising Quranic verses, sacred names and Islamic and devotional compositions rendered in intricate and aesthetically refined calligraphy. The artworks attracted considerable interest from visitors, who appreciated the artist's craftsmanship and the spiritual and artistic beauty of the exhibition.

Chief Minister's Inspection Team Chairman Raja Hanif was the chief guest at the opening ceremony. Addressing the gathering, Hanif said the life and teachings of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) provide timeless guidance for humanity, while Islamic calligraphy is a beautiful expression of faith, devotion and the rich artistic heritage of the Muslim world. He appreciated the Council for organising the exhibition and lauded the artistic efforts behind the display.
