Julianne Hough congratulates ex-husband Brooks Laich and Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir after their Idaho wedding

Julianne Hough has shared a warm reaction to her ex-husband Brooks Laich’s marriage to CrossFit champion Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir, showing that the former couple remains on good terms years after their divorce.
Laich, 43, and Davíðsdóttir, 33, married at their home in Idaho on Aug. 15. Three days later, Hough, 38, congratulated the newlyweds in the comments of their joint Instagram post announcing the wedding.
“Congratulations!!! So so happy for you both!” Hough wrote, adding that she was sending the couple “all the love, health and happiness” for their future together.
Hough and Laich were married in an outdoor ceremony near Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, in July 2017 after dating for several years. They announced their separation in May 2020 and finalised their divorce in June 2022.
Despite their split, Hough has continued to publicly support Laich and Davíðsdóttir’s relationship. She congratulated the pair when they announced their engagement in December 2024 and again celebrated their growing family after they revealed in 2025 that they were expecting their first child.
Laich and Davíðsdóttir welcomed their daughter, Emberly, in October 2025. Hough also congratulated them following the baby’s arrival, writing that their daughter “couldn’t be more loved.”
The couple’s recent Idaho wedding was attended by 110 guests and included a welcome celebration, a lakeside ceremony and reception, and a 1950s-themed beach brunch. Their pet husky, Koda, also joined the celebrations.
Hough’s sister-in-law, Hayley Erbert Hough, also congratulated the newlyweds on social media, calling them “beautiful friends.”
Laich and Davíðsdóttir have been together since 2021 and announced their engagement in 2024.
