LHC disposes of plea; frees 29 PTI workers

LAHORE:

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has disposed of a petition challenging the 30-day detention of 29 PTI workers after the Khushab administration withdrew the detention orders and released all the detainees.

Justice Sadiq Mahmood Khurram heard the petition filed against the detention of the PTI workers.

During the hearing, the deputy commissioner (DC) and district police officer (DPO) of Khushab submitted reports before the court, stating that the detention orders had been withdrawn and all the workers had been released.

In view of the reports, the court disposed of

the petition.
