Kristen Bell gave Savannah Bananas fans an unexpected treat when she made a surprise appearance at the baseball team’s game in Denver and performed a mashup featuring songs from Frozen, Wicked and Dirty Dancing.

Bell appeared in the stands during Saturday’s game between the Savannah Bananas and Indianapolis Clowns, reprising her beloved Disney character Anna from Frozen. The actress performed “For the First Time in Forever” alongside Tony-nominated performer Derek Klena.

Klena, who played Fiyero in the Broadway production of Wicked, sang “Dancing Through Life” as part of the unexpected musical performance. The mashup then incorporated “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” from the classic 1987 movie Dirty Dancing, with Bell and Klena also recreating the film’s famous lift.

The Savannah Bananas shared footage of the performance on Instagram, calling it “the mashup we never knew we needed.”

Bell’s surprise appearance comes shortly after she attended D23 in Anaheim, where she joined her Frozen co-stars Idina Menzel and Josh Gad to promote Frozen 3. During the event, the cast teased Anna’s upcoming wedding to Kristoff, played by Jonathan Groff, as well as new music and footage from the highly anticipated Disney sequel.

Frozen 3 is scheduled to premiere on November 24, 2027. The franchise remains one of Disney’s biggest animated successes, with the original Frozen released in 2013 and Frozen 2 following in 2019.

Bell has voiced Anna throughout the franchise, while Klena’s Broadway credits include Wicked, Moulin Rouge! and Sunset Boulevard. His appearance with the Savannah Bananas came after he was recruited by the viral baseball team in December.
