D23 2026 revealed X-Men cast, 'Avengers: Doomsday' teaser, 'Coco 2', ‘Frozen 3’, 'Tangled' and more Disney projects

Disney revealed a wide range of upcoming films and series at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, including the new X-Men cast, an Avengers: Doomsday teaser, Coco 2 and a first look at the live-action Tangled.

Pixar previewed The Incredibles 3, which follows Violet and Dash as they attempt to prove they are ready to become Supers, while Ghost Market was unveiled ahead of its expected 2028 release.

Coco 2 is set for November 2029, with Benjamin Bratt returning as Ernesto de la Cruz.

The Bluey Movie also received a teaser ahead of its August 6, 2027 release, while Gatto is scheduled for March 5, 2027.

Meanwhile, Tangled will reach cinemas on March 31, 2028, with Tegan Croft playing Rapunzel.

Disney+ announced Kingdom Hearts: The Series, a new story expanding the game universe, and Jon Favreau presented Oswald, a three-part series arriving in February 2027.

Romy & Michele 2 also received an update, with Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino completing filming.

Ice Age: Boiling Point, featuring Queen Latifah and Denis Leary, is due on February 5, 2027, while Lilo & Stitch 2 will premiere on May 28, 2028, with Maia Kealoha confirming Angel's appearance.

Marvel confirmed the X-Men cast, with Kit Connor as Cyclops, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Maya Boyd as Storm, Sadie Sink as Jean Grey and Adam Driver as Mister Sinister. The film arrives May 5, 2028.

Marvel further released an Avengers: Doomsday teaser and previewed VisionQuest, starring Paul Bettany and James Spader, on Disney+ October 14.

Star Wars: Ahsoka Season 2 received a trailer, while Starfighter offered a first look at Ryan Gosling's Kade.

Disney also showed Frozen 3, with Kristen Bell confirming Anna will marry Kristoff, and confirmed Zootopia 3 with Ginnifer Goodwin and Ke Huy Quan returning.

The Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 trailer also debuted at D23, with Walker Scobell teasing a darker season.
