The Supreme Court on Wednesday suspended the Election Commission's decision to hold re-polling at four polling stations of Balochistan Assembly constituency PB-9 Kohlu on August 27 and restored the membership of PML-N candidate Mir Chingez Khan Marri.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan heard the case and issued notices to the parties before adjourning further proceedings until the last week of August. The Election Commission had ordered re-polling at four polling stations in PB-9 Kohlu on August 27.
