Envoy calls for stronger Pak-US ties

WASHINGTON:

Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh participated in a special event organised by the Pakistani American Press Association (PAPA) to celebrate the 250th anniversary of US Independence and the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan.

Prominent community members, media professionals, public officials, and other distinguished guests came together to celebrate the enduring values that unite Pakistan and the US in a time-tested bond of friendship.

Ambassador Sheikh emphasised the importance of solidifying Pak-US bilateral ties through greater trade, investment, and economic cooperation.

He drew attention to fairness, objectivity, and impartiality as core values of the noble journalistic tradition.
