Sindh remembers Karbala

Millions of mourners poured onto the streets across Sindh on Tuesday to observe the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions, with processions held in major cities of the province under tight security.
In Hyderabad, the central procession began from Qadam Gah Moula Ali (RA) in the afternoon and concluded at Qadam Gah Dadan Shah in the evening after covering nearly two kilometres. The procession was led under tight security, with 1,600 police personnel deployed under the supervision of SSP Shahzaib Chachar.
Separately, tens of thousands of men, women, and children participated in the Mishi-Arbaeen walk, travelling from different parts of Hyderabad to reach Qadam Gah Dadan Shah. The large gathering affected traffic flow on several major roads, including Thandi Sarak, Wadhu Wah, Cantt Graveyard Road, and Fatima Jinnah Road.
In Larkana, the central Chehlum procession commenced after Zuhr prayers from Syed Jaral Shah Imambargah and concluded at Pakistan Chowk at night. Around 2,000 police personnel were deployed to ensure security for the main and other processions across the district.
