RAWALPINDI:

Water reserves at Holy Family Hospital, the city's largest public hospital, are rapidly declining after four of its six tube wells became non-functional.

Two tube wells have already been declared beyond repair, while two others have developed technical faults, leaving only two in working condition.

The hospital receives around 25,000 patients and attendants daily, in addition to doctors and support staff, making urgent measures necessary to ensure an adequate water supply.

According to sources, six tube wells had been installed at different locations to meet the hospital's water requirements and had remained fully operational for years.
