Man guns down brother, woman

DERA GHAZI KHAN:

A man allegedly shot dead his elder brother and a young female relative over suspicions of an illicit relationship in the Sadar police station area, with the double murder taking place in the presence of their mother.

The incident occurred near the Board of Education office in the jurisdiction of Sadar police station.

Police said the suspect, identified as Shan alias Shano, allegedly opened fire on his elder brother Khizar Abbas and their relative Dua Noor, killing both at the scene.

According to the first information report registered on the complaint of the deceased woman's mother, Shehnaz Bibi, she was present at the house of her relative Khizar Abbas in the early hours of the morning along with her son Khurram Abbas and daugh-ter Dua Noor.

The FIR stated that a knock was heard at the door, after which Shan, the younger brother of Khizar Abbas, allegedly entered the premises and began arguing with his elder brother. The argument reportedly escalated and Shan allegedly pulled out a pistol and fired at Khizar. He sustained multiple bullet wounds and fell to the ground.
