GDA asked to explain Thandiani land deal

The Provincial Ombudsman Region Secretariat has issued the Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) a notice over the transfer of 400 kanals of government land and forests in Thandiani to a private company.

The notice was issued on the complaint filed by citizen Shahid Rehan. The Provincial Ombudsman Regional Office deputy registrar, while issuing a notice to the GDA under Section 10(4) of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Provincial Ombudsman Act 2010, said that Shahid Rehan, a resident of Abbottabad, filed a complaint with the K-P Provincial Ombudsman Secretariat on June 13, 2026.
