Is the mystery RGB Mew card real? Pokémon TCG fans cannot agree
A mysterious RGB Mew card has divided Pokémon TCG fans, with collectors debating whether the rare pull is authentic

A mysterious Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) card has sparked widespread debate online after an unusual version of Mew reportedly appeared during an early opening of the upcoming Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration set.
The controversy began after Australian Pokémon seller PokeAus Hits revealed the card during a live Whatnot stream featuring unreleased 30th Celebration booster packs. The Mew card immediately caught collectors' attention due to its distinctive design, featuring a textured blue foil finish, artwork by YOSHIROTTEN and the unusual "B/RGB" marking instead of a traditional collector number.
The appearance of the RGB Mew card has fueled speculation that it could belong to a hidden subset within the anniversary expansion. Supporters point to YOSHIROTTEN’s involvement, as the artist also illustrated the officially announced Futuristic rare Mew ex and Mewtwo ex cards. Fans have also noted the artist's previous RGB-themed work, leading to theories that "B/RGB" may reference a secret red, green and blue collection inspired by the original Pokémon games.

A new type of rarity!
This one looks crazy! https://t.co/JrLTOCyzIZ pic.twitter.com/j7Xmknh4aj
However, many collectors remain unconvinced. The card lacks the Pikachu-shaped 30th anniversary stamp featured on other confirmed 30th Celebration cards and does not appear on the leaked checklist for the expansion. Critics also note that its gameplay details closely resemble the officially revealed MEP Promo 105 Mew, raising questions about whether it could be an elaborate custom creation.
Neither The Pokémon Company nor YOSHIROTTEN has commented on the mystery card, and no additional copies have surfaced for independent verification. Until official confirmation is provided, the RGB Mew remains one of the biggest mysteries surrounding the upcoming Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration release, with fans continuing to debate whether it is a genuine ultra-rare card or an exceptionally convincing fake.
