After nearly 48 hours missing, Kamar Williams reveals what really happened

TikTok influencer Kamar Williams, one half of the popular 80KTwins duo, has been found safe after being missing for nearly 48 hours, according to a statement shared by his publicist.

The update was first shared by media personality FreddyO, who said he had been given an exclusive statement from Williams after the influencer's disappearance prompted widespread concern online.

In the statement, Williams apologized for the distress caused by his absence and revealed that he had stepped away to focus on his mental and emotional well-being.

"It is sometimes difficult to reflect on yourself and understand your own identity, especially when you have a twin around all the time," Williams said.

He continued, "I apologize for frightening everyone. I did not realize that my absence would result in such an overwhelming outpouring of love and concern. I appreciate every message, every sentiment shared regarding my absence."

Williams said he has been struggling personally and acknowledged that "life can become difficult," adding that his publicist had connected him with an organization where he could receive support.

"My publicist has connected me with an organization where I can receive the help I need to navigate the dark clouds that I am experiencing right now," he said.

Although he has been found safe, Williams explained that he plans to remain away from social media for a few more days while he continues to focus on his recovery.

"I need a few more days of solitude to clear my head. I appreciate the love, the support and patience," he wrote.

Williams also thanked his family, media outlets and the public for their concern, saying the response reminded him that people genuinely cared about his well-being.

His disappearance had sparked a large-scale online search after his twin brother, Kiyel Williams, appealed for information about his whereabouts earlier this week.
