Margaret Qualley’s upcoming romantic drama Love Of Your Life has announced its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2026, ahead of its theatrical and streaming release later this year.

Directed by filmmaker Rachel Morrison, the film marks Morrison’s return to TIFF following her feature directorial debut The Fire Inside in 2024. The new project is set to be released by Amazon MGM Studios, arriving in select theaters on October 7 before streaming exclusively on Prime Video from October 14.

Love Of Your Life stars Qualley as Maya, a young woman whose life changes after a chance meeting with Charlie, played by Gabriel Basso. The romantic drama follows their unexpected relationship as Maya experiences a future she never imagined, only to face a major turning point that forces her to rethink her identity, dreams and understanding of love.

The official synopsis describes the film as a story about self-discovery, emotional change and finding a new path after life takes an unexpected turn.

Alongside Qualley and Basso, the cast includes Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aaron Pierre, Catherine Keener, Tamara Lawrence and Corey Johnson.

Morrison directs from a screenplay written by Julia Cox in her second feature film. The movie is produced by Ryan Gosling and Jessie Henderson, bringing together a creative team behind the upcoming romantic drama.

For Qualley, Love Of Your Life marks another major release in a busy year, following her appearances in How To Make A Killing and Ridley Scott’s upcoming film The Dog Stars.

With its TIFF 2026 world premiere and dual theatrical and streaming release, Love Of Your Life is expected to be one of Amazon MGM’s notable romance titles of the fall season.
