Taylor Swift's producer accidentally deleted wedding invitation after mistaking it for spam
Garret 'Jacknife' Lee who worked on Swift's album 'Red', didn't open the invitation, his wife revealed

Music producer Garret "Jacknife" Lee reportedly missed Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding after mistakenly deleting the invitation, believing the message was a scam.
Lee's wife, psychotherapist Melissa Garner Lee, shared the story in an article for Huffington Post, revealing that the producer never responded to the invitation after receiving what he believed was a suspicious text message from Swift's manager.
Lee, who co-wrote and produced "The Last Time" with Taylor Swift and Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody for Swift's 2012 album Red, told his wife he had received "a text" from the singer's manager but decided not to reply.
"Yeah — remember I told you I got a text from her manager? But I didn't respond to it," he said. "It didn't sound like him."
Melissa suggested the message may have been sent by an assistant, prompting Lee to simply respond, "Oh."
Reflecting on the misunderstanding, Melissa wrote, "We've been married for 32 years and have lived in the same house all of that time, but apparently we occupy two different worlds."
Lee later confirmed they had genuinely been invited but admitted he had not opened the invitation. "I guess I thought someone was trying to hack my address book or something," he explained.
Melissa admitted she was frustrated by the missed opportunity, saying she had wanted to attend because it would have given her "hope for love", "hope for some good in the world", and "maybe hope in America at a dark time." She also added, "And I obviously would have loved to hear the musical guests. I mean… Stevie Nicks was supposed to play!"
Lee attempted to comfort his wife by saying, "It's really hot out there — it would've been hot." Melissa admitted the comment only added to her frustration, writing, "We were invited to the wedding of the decade and we didn't go because it might be too hot? We didn't even RSVP 'no.' How rude is that? (Sorry Taylor and Travis!)."
The couple ultimately laughed off the incident, with Melissa concluding, "A missed wedding will not be what breaks us. We're stronger than that. Still, it would've been fun to see her dress."
