According to Entertainment Tonight, a source confirmed on June 24 that the actors are in a relationship, one day after photos of the pair showing affection during a trip to Paris circulated on social media. Neither Heuston nor Abdalla has publicly commented on the report.

Romance rumours first gained momentum following the release of Off Campus on Prime Video, with fans noticing the pair's close friendship during the show's promotional tour. Although their characters, Justin Kohl and Allie Hayes, share limited screen time in the series, the actors frequently appeared together in interviews, press events and behind-the-scenes content.

The speculation intensified earlier this month after Abdalla's representative confirmed that the actress and her former fiancé, actor Jake Short, had ended their engagement. The statement, released on June 1, said the pair remained on good terms and requested privacy.

Dating rumours continued to spread after the Australian radio programme 2DayFM Breakfast with Nath & Emma discussed reports that the Off Campus co-stars were romantically involved.
