'Love Island USA' contestant Alannah Keyser reportedly removed after racial slur use
Alannah Keyser was reportedly removed from 'Love Island USA' after resurfaced racist video sparked backlash

Love Island USA contestant Alannah Keyser has reportedly been removed from the reality series following backlash over a resurfaced video that appeared to show her using a racial slur.
Keyser, 21, continued to appear in recent episodes of the Peacock dating show after the video surfaced online. However, according to a report by The US Sun, she has since been dismissed from the programme.
A production source told the outlet that episodes filmed before the controversy emerged were edited to reduce her presence on screen.
“Producers edited Alannah out as much as possible from episodes that were pre-taped before the resurfaced racial slur video was exposed,” the source said.
“She couldn’t be removed completely, but her scenes were significantly trimmed down in Tuesday’s episode.”
The source further claimed that Keyser would no longer appear in episodes from Thursday onwards.
“Producers were disappointed and embarrassed that this has become another mishap,” they added.
Keyser entered Season 8 as one of the new contestants introduced during the Casa Amor segment, where male islanders were introduced to a new group of women.
Shortly after her debut, social media users circulated a video in which she allegedly sang along to a song containing the N-word.
Users also shared a resurfaced Instagram comment in which Keyser allegedly used the same term. It remains unclear when either incident took place.
Keyser has not publicly commented on the allegations.
Her father, Stephane Keyser, defended her in comments to TMZ, stating that she was “definitely not racist” and describing her as an “educated sweetheart”.
The reported removal marks the second controversy involving a Love Island USA contestant this season.
Last month, Vasana Montgomery was reportedly dropped from the programme before filming began after videos emerged allegedly showing her singing the N-word in song lyrics.
