Jelly Roll has revealed why he unexpectedly disappeared during part of Post Malone's recent concert appearance, reassuring fans that the absence had nothing to do with his personal life amid his ongoing divorce from Bunnie Xo.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the country star explained that he had to leave the stage temporarily during Post Malone's June 15, 2026, show in Nashville after receiving an urgent call regarding his daughter, Bailee. The singer said he immediately stepped away to handle the family matter before returning later in the evening.

“I had to go be Dad for a minute,” Jelly Roll told the outlet, adding that everything turned out fine and that he was grateful to be able to rejoin the show. He said Post Malone and the audience were understanding about the brief interruption. 

The explanation came as fans speculated that his absence might have been linked to his recent split from wife Bunnie XO. Earlier this month, the couple announced they were ending their marriage after several years together, prompting intense public interest in the singer's personal life. 

Jelly Roll stressed that the incident was unrelated to the divorce and said his focus remains on his children and his career. He noted that balancing family responsibilities with life on the road can sometimes lead to unexpected moments, but said he would always prioritise being a father.
