Fans of Stranger Things will soon be able to step into the world of Hawkins as Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights 2026 adds a new haunted house inspired by season 5 of the Netflix hit series.

Universal Studios announced that Stranger Things season 5 will become part of the upcoming Halloween Horror Nights lineup, bringing the final chapter of the global phenomenon to life through an immersive horror experience. The attraction will be developed in partnership with Netflix and will feature moments from the show’s highly anticipated final season.

According to Universal, the Stranger Things haunted house will place visitors in the middle of the ultimate battle to save Hawkins. Guests will encounter familiar locations from the series, including the Wheeler House, Hawkins National Laboratory, the MAC-Z military base, and the terrifying realms of the Upside Down and the Abyss.

The attraction is also expected to feature fan-favourite villain Vecna, along with Demogorgons and other creatures from the Stranger Things universe. Visitors will reportedly be hunted throughout the experience as they make their way through scenes inspired by the final season.

Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights 2026 will begin on Friday, August 28, with the event running on select nights through Sunday, November 1 at Universal Orlando Resort.

Tickets for Halloween Horror Nights at both Universal locations are currently available, with additional ticket options for Universal Orlando expected to be released soon.

The Stranger Things season 5 haunted house adds to the long-running partnership between Universal Studios and Netflix, giving fans a chance to experience the final season in a new interactive way ahead of the show’s conclusion.
