Actor Corey Feldman was reportedly hospitalized Monday after suffering a medical emergency while aboard a flight from Chicago to Los Angeles.

According to TMZ, the 54-year-old actor began feeling unwell during the flight and was assisted by a doctor who happened to be on board. When the plane landed at Los Angeles International Airport, paramedics were waiting at the gate and transported Feldman to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Sources told the outlet that doctors believe Feldman's symptoms could be related to pancreatitis or gallstones, though an official diagnosis has not been confirmed. The Los Angeles Fire Department reportedly verified that a 54-year-old man was taken to a hospital for medical care.

The incident came just hours after Feldman appeared at Stand by Me Live, a touring event celebrating the beloved 1986 coming-of-age film. The actor joined former co-stars Jerry O'Connell and Wil Wheaton for appearances in Indianapolis and Chicago, where the trio reflected on their experiences making the classic movie.

Before returning home, Feldman shared his excitement about the strong turnout at the events, hinting that additional tour dates could be announced in the near future.

Feldman rose to fame as a child actor through roles in films including Stand by Me, The Goonies and The Lost Boys, becoming one of Hollywood's most recognizable young stars of the 1980s.

Representatives for Feldman have not publicly commented on the reported hospitalization. Fans have since taken to social media to wish the actor a speedy recovery.
