Pakistan's most-followed TikToker, Jannat Mirza, has spoken out against cyberbullying and online harassment, calling for stronger action against individuals who target women on digital platforms.

Mirza took to Instagram Stories to share an image of an individual she alleged had been involved in online abuse, alongside a message urging greater accountability for harassment on social media.

"I've received messages from multiple people regarding the same individual allegedly targeting different women, attacking their dignity and engaging in harassment," the influencer wrote. She added that, as a public figure, she felt it was important to speak out and raise awareness about such behaviour.

"People who choose to harm, intimidate or humiliate others should be exposed and held accountable for their actions. Silence only enables this kind of conduct to continue," she said.

Mirza stressed the need for stronger measures to protect women online, saying no woman should be subjected to harassment or character attacks without consequences.

She also called on authorities to take action against those accused of online abuse. "The government must take the strictest possible action against such individuals and make examples of them, so others think twice before attempting to damage someone's reputation or honour," she wrote.

The TikToker also tagged the Punjab chapter of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz in her Instagram Story.

Mirza's comments resonated with many social media users, who praised her for highlighting the issue. Her statement also reignited discussion about online safety and the protection of women on digital platforms.
