CM opens desk to tackle corruption
Citizens can report corruption and grievances via phone, social media and WhatsApp

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has inaugurated an Anti-Corruption Desk at the Chief Minister's Complaint Cell to facilitate the registration of corruption complaints and reports.
Citizens can now directly lodge complaints regarding corruption with the Chief Minister. A dedicated telephone number, 091-9222451, has been issued for this purpose, allowing people to contact the cell easily.
Special complaint desks have also been established for individuals residing in Zamong Kor and shelter homes to provide them with an effective platform for registering and resolving their grievances.
The Chief Minister visited the Complaint Cell located at the Chief Minister's Secretariat, where he personally interacted with citizens, listened to their complaints, and received feedback on grievance redressal.
On the occasion, CM Afridi said, "I had promised the people that every complaint would be addressed. Today, we are presenting practical proof of that promise before the public."
He added that every citizen who reports administrative or financial irregularities will find the Chief Minister standing firmly by their side. "The public should file complaints, and the government will ensure their resolution," he assured.
The Chief Minister further stated that the CM Complaint Cell, established in line with the vision of founding Chairman Imran Khan, is being made more effective. Complaints can now also be registered through WhatsApp, email, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter), while every mobile phone user will be able to lodge complaints directly.
Afridi made it clear that he would personally monitor public complaints and ensure their timely resolution. "We will neither allow the public's trust to diminish nor permit any injustice," he said. "Every complaint will be treated as a personal matter and resolved accordingly."
He urged the people not to lose hope, emphasising that the government stands with them. "Our sole interest and priority is the welfare and well-being of the people," Afridi added.
"Only those policies will be implemented in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa that serve the public interest, and provincial welfare along with public trust will be given precedence in every decision," he concluded.
Later, the Chief Minister directed the staff of the Complaint Cell to adopt a courteous attitude towards complainants and ensure the prompt resolution of their grievances.
