Henry Cavill and Kevin Hart go undercover as rivals in new Netflix action comedy
Henry Cavill and Kevin Hart star as rival spies forced into fatherhood chaos in Netflix’s new action comedy

Henry Cavill and Kevin Hart are set to share the screen in a new Netflix action comedy that blends espionage, parenting and unexpected chaos, according to industry reports.
The untitled film follows two rival spies whose secret double lives collide in the most unlikely of settings — a Lamaze class. Their wives become close friends, unknowingly forcing the two operatives into each other’s orbit. What begins as awkward small talk soon escalates into a mix of danger and comedy as their professional and personal worlds begin to overlap.
An early synopsis describes the story as one where “their double lives collide in unexpectedly hilarious and dangerous ways,” pushing the characters into an uneasy partnership as they prepare for fatherhood while trying to maintain their spy identities.
The film is being produced by Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps Entertainment and Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort, with McG directing. The screenplay is written by Adam and Aaron Nee, known for their work on “Masters of the Universe,” alongside Jonathan Tropper. The project is based on a short story by Sean Lewis.
Kevin Hart will also serve as a producer through his Hartbeat banner, continuing his long-standing collaboration with Netflix, where he has starred in multiple successful titles. Henry Cavill also maintains a strong relationship with the streaming platform following his lead role in “The Witcher” and appearances in the “Enola Holmes” film series.
The new project adds to Cavill’s upcoming slate, which includes major studio productions, while Hart continues expanding his comedy and action portfolio at Netflix. Production details and release timing have not yet been announced, but the film is expected to be one of Netflix’s high-profile comedy releases in development.
