Carrie-Anne Moss gushes over 'gentleman' Hudson Williams after steamy scenes in new series 'Yaga'
Moss described Williams as “super respectful” and attentive to her personal space

Carrie-Anne Moss has shared her experience working alongside Heated Rivalry breakout star Hudson Williams on the upcoming supernatural drama Yaga, revealing that one of the perks of the role involved getting to kiss her younger co-star.
Speaking during Bell Media’s upfront presentation in Toronto, the Matrix actress playfully highlighted her on-screen chemistry with Williams while discussing the new Crave series. Pointing to the actor on stage, Moss joked: “I got to make out with him, so that’s lovely.”
The actress went on to praise Williams’ professionalism during the filming of their scenes together, describing him as “super respectful” and attentive to her personal space. “This guy is, like, a serious gentleman,” she said.
Yaga is based on playwright Kat Sandler’s 2019 stage production and offers a modern twist on the legend of Baba Yaga. Moss stars as Katherine, a university professor known for relationships with younger men, while Williams plays Henry Park, the missing heir to a powerful fishing empire whose disappearance sets the story in motion.
The mystery drama also stars Noah Reid as private investigator Rapp and Clark Backo as detective Carson. The series is set in a small coastal town and blends mystery, folklore and supernatural elements.
For Williams, Yaga marks one of his first major projects following the breakout success of Heated Rivalry, which turned him into one of Canada's fastest-rising television stars. The actor recently won Best Lead Performance in a Drama Series at the Canadian Screen Awards for his portrayal of Shane Hollander.
Williams was also at the upfront presentation promoting the second season of Heated Rivalry, which is expected to begin filming later this summer and premiere in spring 2027.
Meanwhile, Yaga is set to debut later this year on Crave in Canada and AMC+ in the United States, with Moss and Williams' on-screen pairing already generating buzz among fans eager to see the supernatural thriller.
