Content creator Lena The Plug has denied reports that she is divorcing her husband, Adam22, claiming that court documents suggesting a split were fraudulently filed by someone impersonating her.

According to statements shared by Lena on social media, she recently discovered rejected paperwork from a courthouse containing her personal information, forged signatures and a cheque attached in an apparent attempt to file for divorce on her behalf.

“I’m here to address the chaos,” Lena said in a video posted online. “Last month, I went to check my mail and I had all of this rejected paperwork from a courthouse. Somebody has been trying to file for divorce on my behalf.”

The denial comes after separate reports, citing court filings, alleged that Lena had filed for divorce in Los Angeles County on June 1. Those reports claimed she was seeking custody of the couple’s five-year-old daughter and a share of marital assets.

However, Lena strongly disputed those claims and said she had become aware of the alleged divorce filing at the same time as the public.

“I found out that I was getting divorced when you guys found out that I was getting divorced,” she said.

Lena alleged that the individual behind the filing may be the same person who previously contacted authorities with claims that she was being abused by her husband, resulting in multiple wellness checks at their home.

“I filed a police report on May 6 to report the man for identity theft,” she said.

Rejecting claims contained in the reported filing, Lena added, “Adam is not in charge of all my finances. I make more than $3,000 a month. I’m not filing for custody. I’m not divorcing at all.”

Adam22 later shared her video and wrote, “I love my Citch I could never turn my back on her.”

Lena maintains that she has not filed for divorce and says she is now seeking legal assistance to address the situation.
