Heather McComb, the actress and former wife of the late actor James Van Der Beek, has remarried actor Scott Michael Campbell in a ceremony held in Missoula, Montana.

McComb confirmed the news in a post on Instagram, sharing a series of photos from the couple’s wedding on May 30. Campbell also shared images from the wedding on his own social media account, expressing gratitude and describing himself as “beyond blessed” to marry McComb.

The couple reportedly began dating in 2023 after knowing each other for more than 15 years. They announced their engagement in April 2025 before tying the knot this week.

McComb, 49, was previously married to James Van Der Beek from 2003 until their divorce in 2010. Van Der Beek later married Kimberly Van Der Beek in 2010, and the couple went on to have six children together.

Following Van Der Beek’s death from colorectal cancer in February 2026, McComb paid tribute to her former husband, describing him as a “beautiful soul” with warmth, talent and deep spirituality. She also praised Kimberly Van Der Beek for the care and support she showed during his illness.

McComb is known for her roles in television series including Party of Five, Profiler, Grey’s Anatomy and The Rookie. Campbell has appeared in projects such as ER, Shameless and Brokeback Mountain.

Their wedding marks a new chapter for McComb as she continues her personal and professional life following years connected to Hollywood’s television and film industry.
