KSI steps away from 'Sidemen' after Britain’s Got Talent breakthrough
KSI confirms emotional exit from 'Sidemen' to focus on health, family and personal life after years with group

KSI has officially confirmed his departure from the Sidemen, ending a long-running chapter with the popular YouTube collective following his recent surge in mainstream success, including his appearance on Britain’s Got Talent.
According to a report by The Sun, the influencer, musician, and boxer revealed the news in an emotional video shared on social media, stating that his decision comes after months of reflection and a desire to prioritise his health, family, and personal relationships.
KSI said the choice was not driven by conflict, describing it as a personal decision made after feeling increasingly stretched across multiple professional and personal commitments. He explained that maintaining the pace required by the Sidemen’s growing media empire had become difficult alongside his other responsibilities.
In his statement, KSI reflected on his long history with the group, calling the Sidemen “a second family” and acknowledging the impact they have had on his life over the past 12 to 13 years. He added that stepping away was emotional but necessary, saying the group deserves someone who can give “100 percent” commitment.
A source cited by The Sun said there was no bad blood between KSI and the Sidemen, adding that both sides understand the pressures of their expanding careers and may still collaborate in the future.
KSI also emphasised that his decision was motivated by the need to restore balance in his life, including spending more time with loved ones and focusing on his well-being.
Despite his exit, both KSI and the Sidemen are expected to continue thriving independently, with the group continuing to expand its presence across YouTube and streaming platforms such as Prime Video and Netflix.
