A mobile game advertisement featuring Anthony Starr has gone viral online, prompting widespread discussion among fans following the conclusion of The Boys series finale.

The clip, shared across social platforms, shows Starr appearing in a promotional video for a mobile game, with viewers quickly linking the appearance to his role as Homelander in the Amazon Prime Video series The Boys.

One of the earliest reactions confirmed the nature of the clip saying, “Unfortunately the actor actually does these ads often.”

Some comments suggested the ad resembled scenarios within The Boys universe, with users drawing comparisons between fictional Vought-related branding and real-world promotional content.

One user wrote, “I find this incredibly funny because I can’t see Antony without seeing Homelander.” Another noted, "Why is he actually doing his Homelander voice too I’m crying?"

One comment stated, “He knows The Boys might be his last huge role for a while and getting a bag while he can.” The post sharing the ad initially went as far as explaining it with the "Brokelander" title.

Several posts also referenced earlier franchise-related casting discussions, with users contrasting Starr’s appearance in mobile advertising with his absence from other gaming-related roles. A comment read, “They got Antony Star for this mobile ad but couldn’t get him for mortal kombat 1.”
