Delayed laptop distribution irks pupils

Students at Kohsar University have expressed serious concern over the delay in the distribution of laptops under the Prime Minister's Laptop Scheme.

They have also claimed that the distribution of laptops in the first phase was unfair; however, the university administration maintains that the distribution was done on the basis of the HEC-issued merit list.

According to the students, laptops have already been provided to students in other government universities in Punjab, but, aside from a few students, the majority at Kohsar University have been sidelined.
