Abductee returns shortly after kidnapping

Police have registered a case against the kidnappers of Ammar Siddique Khan, the son-in-law of former federal minister Sarwar Khan, who was abducted from the limits of Taxila Police Station, Rawalpindi last night. Khan returned about two and a half hours after the kidnapping.
According to the police, the case was registered on the complaint of Khan's driver Amjad Ali, in which the accused adopted the stance that he has been working as a driver with Ammar Siddique Khan for 35 years. He said that he was traveling with Khan from Islamabad to his house in Pind Noshehri, when two cars drove next to them and forced them to stop. He said that the abductors, who had a wireless set with them, forced Khan to get out of his car and into their vehicle and took off. Khan was reportedly released after two and a half hours later.
