'The Only Way is Essex' star Jake Hall dies aged 35 following accident in Mallorca

Former The Only Way is Essex cast member Jake Hall has died aged 35 following an accident in Mallorca, Spain.
Hall, who appeared on the ITV reality series between 2015 and 2016, reportedly died on May 6 after sustaining head injuries at a villa in Mallorca.
According to reports citing local officers, the injuries were caused by shards of glass. Spanish authorities are investigating the incident and are awaiting autopsy results.
The Spanish Civil Guard told BBC News that the case “appears to be an accidental death”.
Hall was the father of eight-year-old daughter River, whom he shared with reality television personality Misse Beqiri. Following news of his death, Beqiri’s representative released a statement requesting privacy for the family.
“At this time, Misse's focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this devastating loss,” the statement read. “The family are asking for privacy, compassion and respect while they grieve privately."
Hall joined The Only Way is Essex during its 14th season as a friend of Vas J Morgan and later appeared across several seasons of the programme. He was also previously in a relationship with co-star Chloe Lewis.
A statement from the show, quoted by the BBC, said: “Jake was a part of the TOWIE family for a number of years and we send our very deepest sympathies to his family and friends following today's very sad news."
In recent years, Hall had focused on building a career as an artist after relocating to Mallorca, where he spent part of his childhood.
In an earlier interview with Entitled1, he credited his daughter with helping him reconnect with creativity during a difficult period in his life.
Hours before his death, Hall shared a video montage on Instagram featuring moments from his life in Mallorca, including time spent with friends, painting and clips of his daughter.
