FM Dar, Iranian counterpart discuss regional situation, peace efforts

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar discussed the current regional situation and Pakistan's ongoing diplomatic efforts for peace and stability in the region with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on a phone call late Sunday night.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Araghchi thanked Pakistan for its constructive role and mediation efforts between the parties.

The statement said that Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting constructive engagement and underscored that dialogue and diplomacy remained the only viable path toward the peaceful resolution of issues and achieving lasting peace and stability in the region and beyond.

Jordan's FM hails Pakistan's constructive role, peace efforts

Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Foreign Minister (FM) Ayman Safadi on Sunday spoke with FM Ishaq Dar and appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role and continued efforts for peace.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two leaders discussed the evolving regional situation and exchanged views on efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.

The statement added that Jordan “appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role and continued efforts for peace, dialogue, and regional stability in the context of ongoing tensions in the region.”

"FM Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting constructive engagement among all parties in support of stability and the peaceful resolution of conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy,” it said.

The ministry added that the two leaders also reaffirmed the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and Jordan and underscored the importance of continued cooperation at bilateral and multilateral forums.
