Olivia Rodrigo debuts 'Begged' on SNL, Connor Storrie makes surprise appearance to introduce her
Rodrigo's upcoming album 'You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love' is set for release in June

A surprise appearance by Connor Storrie added an unexpected twist to Saturday Night Live, as he stepped in to introduce Olivia Rodrigo during her performance on the show.
Storrie, known for his role in Heated Rivalry, made a brief cameo during Rodrigo’s double-duty episode as both host and musical guest. He introduced her second performance of the night, where she debuted a previously unreleased track titled Begged from her upcoming third album.
The performance itself leaned into the album’s visual aesthetic, with Rodrigo seated on a swing, mirroring the artwork for her forthcoming album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, which is set for release in June.
Rodrigo’s SNL appearance marked a major milestone in her career, as she took on hosting duties for the first time while also delivering two musical performances in the same episode. Alongside Begged, she also performed her lead single Drop Dead, continuing the rollout for her highly anticipated new album.
Storrie’s cameo was especially notable given his own recent connection to the show, he previously hosted SNL earlier in 2026, making his return feel like a quick full-circle moment.
The unexpected crossover between the rising actor and one of pop’s biggest stars quickly caught viewers’ attention, adding to an already buzzy episode that blended comedy, music, and surprise appearances.
