Cyclists rally across Karachi in solidarity with Palestine
Protesters demand global support, condemn Israel, US actions, call for Muslim unity

Palestine Foundation Pakistan organised a vibrant cycle rally in Karachi to mark Palestine's Land Day, showing solidarity with oppressed Palestinians. The event began at Teen Talwar in Clifton and culminated at Karachi Press Club on Sunday, with participants carrying Pakistani and Palestinian flags. Women formed a significant part of the rally, while many held placards featuring images of martyrs and leaders from Palestine, Iran, and Lebanon.
The crowd cycled through various neighbourhoods, chanting slogans and receiving enthusiastic support from onlookers who clapped and cheered them on.
At the Press Club, a protest gathering followed the rally, where religious, political, and social leaders addressed the participants. Speakers included Dr Meraaj-ul-Huda Siddiqui, Allama Hayat Abbas, Bashir Khan Sadozai, Sardar Arjan Singh, Israr Abbasi, and Saquib Noshi among others.
Addressing the crowd, speakers condemned the actions of Israel and the US, describing them as threats to global peace and humanity. They urged Muslim nations to unite against aggression and highlighted Iran's resistance to global superpowers as a model of solidarity. Leaders affirmed Pakistan's support for Palestine, pledging to continue advocating for the liberation of Jerusalem and the rights of oppressed peoples worldwide, including Kashmir.
The rally also carried a message of interfaith solidarity, with minority community representatives joining to express unity with Palestinians. Protesters raised slogans including "Down with the US and Israel" and "Death to India," emphasising their demand for international action against human rights violations.
